About Us

Avalon RO is a custom mid-rate Ragnarok Online server that has been around since 2003, when it opened as part of the Excalibur Network next to its low-rate sister ExcaliburRO. It is run by the same community that played here through the years: a small team, no company behind it, no affiliation with Gravity Co., Ltd.

What kind of server is this?

• Pre-Renewal mechanics, classic stats and skill balance
• Rates: Base EXP 260x, Job EXP 160x, Item drop 100x, Card drop 0.75%
• Max level 255 / 99, max stats 150, max ASPD 196
• War of Emperium: Thursday and Saturday, 20:00–22:00 server time
• Custom content the old way: quest headgears, legendary weapons, the MvP arena, football, fishing and GM events

Quests are found, not handed out

As on the original Avalon, the staff does not publish walkthroughs. New quests are announced in the news, and it is up to you to find the NPC, figure it out and, if you like, share it with others in the forum Guides section. The Warpra in town only opens a dungeon after you have reached its Warpra Helper on foot.

Getting started

Read the Server Rules, register an account, grab the client on the Downloads page and log in. Full numbers are on the Server Information page.
